Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Life happens — I get it. But here’s how we keep things respectful, smooth, and drama-free:


Deposits Are Non-Refundable

All sessions require a non-refundable deposit to lock in your date and time. This covers planning, prep, and holding your spot on the calendar.

Need to Reschedule? No Problem.

You may reschedule your session up to 48 hours before your scheduled time with no extra charge. Just shoot me a message and we’ll make it work.
Within 48 hours, a reschedule fee of $40 may apply depending on availability.

Cancellations

If you cancel entirely (without rescheduling), the deposit is forfeited. If you no-show with no communication, that’s a full loss — no refunds, no reschedules. Ghosting isn’t cool.

Running Late?

Please be on time — your session starts at the booked time, not when you arrive. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, your session time may be reduced or canceled without refund depending on schedule availability.

Weather Policy (For Outdoor Sessions)

If Mother Nature isn’t cooperating, we’ll reschedule at no cost. I’ll make the call based on the forecast and lighting conditions to make sure your shoot still hits.

Booking Policy

Booking a shoot with Shoot Happens is easy — but we keep it real to make sure everyone’s on the same page.


Non-Refundable Deposit

Confirmation

Once your deposit is in, you'll get a confirmation with session details, prep tips, and the vibe checklist.

First-Come, First-Served

Bookings are first-come, first-served. I don’t hold spots without a deposit.

Availability

If you're scheduling for a specific occasion (birthday, graduation, proposal, etc.), book early — last-minute availability is limited.

Contract

You must complete the booking form and sign the contract before your session is locked in. No contract = no camera clicks.

Payment Policy

Let’s talk money. Transparency is key — no surprises here.


Non-Refundable Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve your shoot.

Remaining Balance

The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the session, before we start shooting.

Accepted Payment Methods

Cash , Credit/Debit Card, Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App.

Checks are NOT accepted.

If your payment isn’t received on time, the session may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.

Receipts available upon request.
